OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 February 2009 was announced, that TGC-5 and TC-9 power plants incorporated into IES-Holding “Generation of Ural” Division produced 27,63 billion kilowatt-hours of power energy in 2008, that exceeded  energy generation in 2007 by 1,1%.

TGC-5 CHPPs generated 11,29 billion kilowatt-hours of power energy, and TGC-9 plants – 16,34 billion kilowatt-hours. In 2007 TGC-5 produced 11,02 billion kilowatt-hours correspondingly, TGC-9 plants – 16,29 billion kilowatt-hours. The main power energy generation growth was achieved in 1-3 quarters of the last year. Quite the contrary, the production decrease in comparison with the same period of 2007 was fixed in the 4th quarter due to reduction of consumption by the large industrial consumers.

Heat energy output from “Generation of Ural” Division’s collectors made 56,1mln Gcal in 2008, what was 3,3% less in comparison with 2007. Heat output decrease was caused by abnormal high temperature of open air, set in November-December of the last year almost at all areas of production activity of the Division.
