OREANDA-NEWS On 19 February was announced, that the Russian Bank for Development participated in the SME Conference, which was organized by the Association of Russian Banks and the Chief Administration of the RF Central Bank in the Tver Oblast.

The issues of attracting more regional banks to the RBD’s SME Lending Support Program were discussed at the conference. According to Nadezhda Martynova, Deputy Chairman of the Board, in accordance with the decision of the Vnesheconombank’s Supervisory Board on intensifying SME lending in 2009 up to RUR 30 billion one of the priority objectives of RBD is multiplication of counter-party banks involved in SME Lending Support Program in all Russian regions.

Dmitry Zelenin, Governor of the Tver Oblast, Garegin Tosunyan, President of the Association of Russian Banks, Mikhail Sapunov, Head of the Chief Administration of the RF Central Bank in the Tver Oblast and representatives from OPORA ROSSII and regional banks took part in the conference.
