OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 February 2009 was announced, that under the programme of IDGC of Centre, JSC on equipment updating, Belgorodenergo, a branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC, is testing new automotive equipment of cross-country capacity aimed for execution of repair work in distribution centres and transformer substations.

Work on equipment with multi-functional modern automotive devices of operative repair personnel of the subsidiaries is an important direction in the company’s technical policy. For development of the fleet work IDGC of Centre, JSC purchased new automotive equipment for its subsidiaries.

The vehicle fleet of Alexeevsky Electricity Network Zone, Belgorodenergo, a branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC, received a new vehicle of cross-country capacity with a manipulated crane on the basis of Sadko GAZ-3308. Earlier for removal of failures and execution of repair power engineers had to use three units of specialised equipment: a team care, a crane and freight vehicles. Now all functions are being executed by one car equipped with a three-throw hydraulic manipulated crane.

New special equipment is used as team cars. A modern five-seater cabin with a large glass area and comfortably-located control levers was installed at Sadko. Durability during work is supported by extensible hydraulic supports. The car combines reliability, good ride characteristics, simplicity in use and maintenance and a high level of safety.

At the present moment Alexeevsky EDZ personnel states that use of new special equipment allowed to reduce time and forces for repair of transformer substations. During several months it is planned to evaluate the efficiency of usage of universal equipment in the branch; after it the branch employees will solve the issue on expediency of purchase of such automotive equipment for other EDZs of the branch. It is supposed that such cars will be purchase for EDZs, where the number of employees is over 150 people.

Yarenergo, a branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC, is optimising its vehicle fleet. The branch has recently held a solemn transfer to the balance of production departments of the branch twelve units of new automotive equipment: nine drilling crane cars and three tower vehicles. Deputy General Director – Director of Yarenergo, IDGC of Centre, JSC, Igor Solonikov said, “Replenishment of the vehicle fleet will allow to increase the quality of our work and decrease risks of emergencies. The special equipment is handled by operative and repair personnel – this means reduction of time of reaction to the emergencies and increase of power reliability”.

Heads of all electric network zones and production departments of Lipetskenergo, a branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC, received keys from new Mitsubishi L 200 cars. Twenty-two cars with diesel engines are equipped with all devices necessary for a quick and high-quality work of operative repair teams. According to Vladimir Buyev, Head of Lipetsk Electric Networks, the new cars will allow to take the repair personnel faster to the place of blackout and eliminate troubles with electricity supply of consumers more efficiently.
