OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 February 2009 was announced, that IDGC of Centre, JSC, summed up the results of execution of the 2008 union contract and signed a contract for 2009-2011. The new union contract fixed the whole range of social benefits and guarantees.

The union contract is a document that regulates all social and labour relations between the personnel and the company’s top managers. The document fixed such important issues as the growth of salary, labour protection and social guarantees and benefits.

Within three months the conciliation commission that included both managers and ordinary employees has been preparing the new union contract. The document is based on the regional tariff contract for 2009-2011, the union contract of IDGC of Centre, JSC, for 2008 and proposals of the working commission. The document was coordinated with representatives of all eleven branches of the company and approved by the Board of Directors as of 10 February, 2009.

The representatives of ordinary staff admitted that the 2008 union contract was executed fully by the company’s administration, and, in some sections, overworked. The power workers of IDGC of Centre, JSC presented all social benefits and guarantees that were fixed in the union contract. Under the estimate of the union contract, during 2008 the company held sports and cultural events. By results of the last year the budget of social payments exceeded 24.7% of the planned sum.

The new union contract reflected positions about labour payment, work and rest time, labour and health protection, benefits, additional payments and encouragements of new employees. The union contract envisages supply of employees with necessary means of individual protection and special equipment, execution of action directed at improvement of labour protection and industrial safety. The contract pays a great attention to education of the personnel and improvement of their skills. The union contract of IDGC of Centre, JSC guarantees social support of not only working employees of the company, but also of its veterans of labour and pensioners.

General Director, IDGC of Centre, JSC, Evgeny Makarov noted: “People are most valuable for us. Social support of each employee is our most important business activity, that became especially important at the time of economic troubles in Russia and all over the world. The 2009-2011 union contract preserved almost all social guarantees that we had earlier approved.

The company envisaged corporate help in improvement of housing conditions of their employees under the Regulations approved at the Company’s Board of Directors, material support of employees at renewal of business relations while in military service and material support of leaves and health resort treatment. Besides, the approved document guarantees support of families with many children, mothers with children of over three years old, gifts at holidays and support of employees that are having serious troubles in their lives.

The annual estimate of the new union contract of IDGC of Centre, JSC, as compared to physical expenses under the 2008 union contract, increased by 13.2%.
