OREANDA-NEWS. March 3, 2009. Stroytransgaz has successfully completed a recertification audit of its environmental management system. The audit confirmed that the company’s system meets international standard ISO 14001:2004. At its conclusion, Moody International Certification Group also awarded Stroytransgaz a certificate attesting to compliance with the Russian standard in this area, GOST R ISO 14001-2007. The certificates are effective to December 13, 2011. 

Moody International Certification Group conducted the audit at divisions within company headquarters in Moscow and at the construction site where work is underway to build energy block №4 of the Kalinin nuclear power plant in Udomlya, Tver Oblast. The audit was carried out in October 2008.

The certifying body gave Stroytransgaz high marks for its system of environmental management. It also extended the spheres of activity of the two certificates, adding construction of nuclear, thermal, and other types of electric power stations to the list of certified activities the company may engage in.
