OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 March 2009 was announced, that PAVA continues to provide more valuable solutions to the food processing industry. The company reported it will produce and market macaroni semolina - flour made of soft wheat which may be incorporated in production of various pasta products.

This launch is consistent with PAVA’s underlying product policy – continue to explore opportunities of wheat kernel and enlarge the assortment. Pasta has a great nutritional profile, and macaroni semolina is the raw material that gives superior quality to the finished product – right colour, texture and resistance to overcooking.

The equipment for selection of semolina will be installed at Achinsk flour mill, one of the grain processor’s structural units. Currently, the team of experienced product engineers is working on the product development and obtains technical documents. This innovation is believed to improve overall productivity of the mill.

As with other products in PAVA’s range, macaroni semolina will be offered to both Russian and overseas partners of the company on the Asian and African continents.
