OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2009. B&N Bank was included in TOP-30 banks by its level of stress resistance. This ranking was prepared by National Banking Journal (No.3) on the basis of the following benchmarks for the period from September 2008 to January 2009, reported the press-centre of B&N Bank:

Number of positive news, initiated by the bank (active policy of the bank in generation and distribution of the positive news items regarding its activity).

Absence of negative news about the bank (ability of the bank to prevent the appearance of such information in the market or neutralize it skillfully before it adversely affects activity of financial institution).

Absence of information regarding any reduction of staff (bank’s ability to refrain from drastic actions related to personnel capacity which is the evidence of high level of social responsibility and stress resistance).

Information about new projects (business lines) to be elaborated and implemented by the bank (demonstration of the bank’s flexibility and its aspiration to render new products based on new market fundamentals excluding any speculative nature).

Information about the bank’s medium- and long-term development strategy (ability of the bank’s management to "look into the distance" and create medium- and long-term development strategies for their businesses – is a very crucial and positive issue).

Participation of the bank in rehabilitation procedure as an investor (in order to participate in rehabilitation procedure as the investor the bank shall provide a reliable pledge being the evidence of its solvency and stability).
