OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 March 2009 was announced, that the Pension Fund deprived 8 more banks from the right to pay pensions to the population. The above banks are Transbank, Bank Nadra, Ukrprombank, Bank Kyiv, where temporary administration was set by the NBU, Ukrgasbank < UGZB UZ U/R > and the Bank of Regional Development, where NBU set the curators, as well as Bank Evropeyskiy and Rodovid Bank. Note that in December the Pension Funds excluded 18 banks from the pension payer list, while Bank Nadra and Prominvestbank were allowed to pay pensions till 1 July 2009.

Millennium Capital sees the news to be NEGATIVE for the above banks, since the dismissal from the pension payer list may deteriorate the clients credibility to the banks, where neither the temporary administration, no the curator were yet set by the NBU. This may result in the reduction of the clients’ base of the above banks, thus reducing the amount of their potential income.

Millennium Capital is an integrated financial services provider. Established in 2000 by a group of professionals with solid background in securities and corporate finance, Millennium Capital is now one of the major investment banking institutions.
