OREANDA-NEWS. March 20, 2009. Far-Eastern Bureau representation of OJSC Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation celebrate its 5th anniversary. In December, 2003 the Board of directors of Transsiberian Re decided to open the far-eastern representation of the Corporation. It was registered in the Tax Inspection of Nakhodka in February, 2004.

The office was presented in the end of March of 2004 on 50th anniversary of Ludmila L. Yatsenko, who was the founder and the first director of Far-Eastern Bureau. More than 50 people – representatives of the insurance companies of Khabarovsk, Kamchatka, Sakhalin, Primorye Territory, including the Management of the Corporation participated in these festive occasions.

For the past five years Transsiberian Re’s representation not only consolidated its position on the insurance market, moreover it is one of its leaders. There is a range of insurance companies which have been cooperating with Far-Eastern Bureau during the whole period. At that, the cooperation of the Corporation extended to Khabarovsk Territory and Yakutia.

For only five-year-period Far-Eastern Bureau cooperated with 24 companies on reinsurance, signed 4721 contract on 20 types of insurance with more than RUR 17,5 billion liability, settled 530 insured events and the total amount of payments made up RUR 26,4 million.

All this is obliged to quite a small staff – director of the office, Larissa Bykova and underwriter, Elena Samoylenko. These two amazing women are notable for their active lifestyle and high professionalism. Almost none of the insurance events of the region can go without their participation. Apart from that at the present moment they almost finished getting their second education (Khabarovsk State Academy of Economics and Law, Finances and Credit Department, Insurance specialization).

The peculiarity of the region (center remoteness and vast territory), all this add to the work of Far-Eastern Bureau. Its staff is the most “travelling” in Transsib Re and spends most of their time on business trips.

Though, they don’t feel themselves cut off from the main branches of the Corporation. Day-to-day consultations with key specialists by Skype or e-mail, material backing, advice – all this allows to say that 11 thousand km from Moscow and 7-hour time lag cannot disturb from successful work. Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation came to the Far East for the long haul and means business.
