OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2009. A traditional annual meeting of KAMAZ dealers was held in Yelabuga.  In his opening address to the participants of the meeting Sergey Kogoghin, Director General of the company, thanked the dealers for their work in 2008 and emphasized that in the epoch of the global economic crisis everybody had to get used to new working conditions:

— Now you have to fight for every client. The market size enables to realize the planned output. However you must seriously press your competitors. In addition, you should cut down the expenses as far as possible.

Sergey Kogoghin noted that a range of services must be increased. Besides vehicle sales it’s necessary to develop sales of spare parts as well as to render clients services.

On its part, KAMAZ Inc. takes measures to support its dealer network: crediting, discounting programs and installment plans were launched. The imposed customs duties for foreign vehicles import will help the dealers too.
