Total cost of the project has made more than 250 million roubles. Government of the republic supported the project having allocated 81 million roubles of the budgetary credit for purchase of the factory equipment.

The purpose of this investment project is in-house production of precast and cast-in-situ and large-panel constructions of high quality for the building sites of Karelia. In spite of the fact that the basic customer of production of the factory is Karelstroimekhanizatsiya Joint-Stock Company, it cooperates closely with other leading building organizations of the republic: Building Enterprise N1 Joint-Stock Company, Large-Panel Housing Construction Joint-Stock Company, VEK Building Company, Inc., as well as medium and small contract organizations. In 2008 enterprise produced the wide range of ferro-concrete products for building sites of Petrozavodsk and Kostomuksha, road plates for the settlement of Louhi, commodity concrete and mortar.

The factory is equipped with the advanced process facilities produced in Germany and Finland. Advantage of modern technologies is that the factory can make precast and cast-in-situ and large-panel constructions of the most various series, large elements, flights of stairs and platforms, ventilating blocks and plates for loggias. Its large-panel constructions production capacity today makes 9 thousand cubic metres a year (which is 17 thousand square meters of housing), and precast and cast-in-situ constructions production capacity makes 15600 cubic metres annually (and it is already 40 thousand square meters of housing).

The factory works stably under the present complex economic situation, without resorting to staff reduction, and even increasing the staff. On results of the last year there worked 81 people, the average wages have made 23 thousand roubles. Today the factory employees work on the next order - the complete set of constructions for the 60-condominium in Zaitsev street. Of constructions made at the factory houses are being constructed in Arkhipov and Plekhanov streets, and on Klyuchevsky highway. In the near future the factory's production will be used for building new apartment houses of Drevlyanka-5 microdistrict in the capital of Karelia.

Prime Minister Pavel Chernov was satisfied with examination of industrial shops. "This is the kind of competitive enterprises we support, - he has told the journalists. - The factory able to produce almost ready houses was constructed in the republic for the first time in the past twenty years. It may deliver qualitative panels to the building enterprises, apartments made of them will be nice and warm. Also important is that in years difficult for economy the enterprise is developing and creates new workplaces."
