OREANDA-NEWS. April 07, 2009.  Nordea Leasing issued a total of 302 million kroons worth of leasing credits in January and February, making up 33.4% of the total new sales market in the first months of the year.

According to Nordea Leasing director Silver Kuus, the company has gradually increased its market share and the entire portfolio has risen by about 16% in the last year.

“This year as well, we will continue issuing new leasing and factoring credits to the customers of Nordea and other banking groups which in the current complicated economic environment have retained a liquidity level and credit rating conforming to the requirements,” added Kuus.

Nordea Leasing’s entire credit portfolio, including leasing, factoring and stock financing, has grown 15.6% in the year, reaching 6,634 million kroons as of the end of February.

Nordea Leasing’s share of the overall market has grown to 16.2 per cent.

Nordea Leasing offers its customers leasing for passenger vehicles, equipment and heavy machinery as well as stock financing for vehicles and other moving machinery.

Along with its affiliates in Scandinavia, the Baltics and Poland, Nordea is the region’s largest provider of leasing and factoring services.
