On 08 April 2009 Credit-Rating, a nationally recognized credit rating agency in Ukraine announced that it affirmed the long-term credit rating assigned to Kirovogradoblenergo OJSC and its bonds (series A and B) for UAH125m at uaBBB, Sevastopoloblenergo OJSC and its bonds (series A and B) for UAH110m at uaBBB+, and Zhytomyroblenergo OJSCs bonds (series A and B) for UAH106m at uaBBB. The outlooks on the aforementioned ratings are negative.

Moreover, Credit-Rating has removed the ratings from the Rating Watch List following the companies submit of information featuring their full and timely payments on the bonds offered for repayment on March 2, 2009, specifically on Kirovogradoblenergo OJSCs bonds of series B, Sevastopoloblenergo OJSCs bonds of series B and Zhytomyroblenergo OJSCs bonds of series B.

The revision of the ratings basing on the companies annual statements and prospective plans for 2009 is planned top be fulfilled by end of April 2009 once all of the necessary information is submitted for consideration.

An obligor or a debt liability with uaBBB credit rating is characterized with the SUFFICIENT creditworthiness as compared to other Ukrainian obligors or debt liabilities. This level of creditworthiness is affected by adverse changes in commercial, financial and economic conditions. A plus "+" and a minus "-" signs indicate intermediary categories compared to the standard categories (grades).
