OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 April 2009 was announced, that the Minister of Transport Igor Levitin, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Dmitry Mezentsev, Governor of Irkutsk Oblast Igor Esipovsky, members of the Government and deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Irkutsk Oblast attended a ceremony arranged to commission a domestic air terminal which has been under reconstruction since 2005.

The total reconstruction budget amounted to RUR 578 mln of which RUR 305 mln was financed by TransCreditBank’s facility. The facility was advanced to FGUP Irkutsk Airport in july 2008 against a guarantee of Sheremetievo Airport.

Upon reconstruction the floorspace of the terminal, which is called Crystal Gates, has doubled to 13,000 sq.m, with its throughput capacity increased to 800 PAX/h. After reconstruction of its runway was completed last autumn the airport can accommodate aircraft of all types.

An outlet of TransCreditBank will soon be opened on the premises of the terminal to provide the most popular banking services, like settlement and currency exchange transactions, money transfers, deposits, bank cards and card-based services, commemorative and investment coins. 

A 24h ATM is available in the terminal offering a variety of payments (cellular and ground-based telecommunications, Internet, communal services, etc.), express deposits, cash transfer between various cards issued by the bank.
