Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation will appear with a wide exposition featuring the capacities of Russia’s nuclear power industry.

Atomenergoprom OJSC, a state-owned integrated holding consolidating the civil assets of Rosatom, will present information about the state, development prospects and capacities of Russia’s nuclear power industry and will demonstrate Russian-Chinese projects in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy.

Russian nuclear companies already have big experience of cooperation with Chinese partners.

Particularly, Atomstroyexport has finished the construction of two units of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant. Presently, the units are under two-year guarantee maintenance. Chinese experts have already admitted that the improved Russian WWER reactors are the safest in China. So, Russia may hope for new contracts at Tianwan NPP.

In 1996–2001 Russian specialists helped the Chinese to build three gas centrifuge plants with a total capacity of 1mln SWU. Presently, in the framework of the contract signed by Techsnabexport OJSC (100% subsidiary of Atomenergoprom OJSC) and Chinese Atomic Energy Industry Company in Aug 2008, Russia is assisting China in building the fourth plant.

Presently, China and Russia have finished installing and adjusting the equipment of CEFR (China Experimental Fast Reactor).

In Oct 2008 the countries agreed to jointly build a demo fast reactor of higher capacity on the basis of Russian BN-800 technology.
