OREANDA-NEWS. On April 20, 2009 Certification audit of the Environmental Management System (EMS) by the world renowned certifying entity, BSI Management Systems, has successfully been completed. It confirmed the compliance of the CPC developed and introduced EMS governing the operations of all its divisions per international environmental ISO 14001:2004 and awarded a Certificate, reported the press-centre of CPC.

“We are pleased that CPC as a company that decided to work per the highest world standards since its inception received a formal recognition in such an important area as environmental protection”, said CPC General Director V.Y. Razdukhov. “The CPC developed and introduced Environmental Management System lays a reliable foundation for competitive, effective and safe operations of the CPC crude oil pipeline system for its entire lifetime. We regard it as a natural way for developing a modern enterprise in the 21st century.”
