OREANDA-NEWS. May 8, 2009. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Aleksander Tislenko, CEO of Altkom Industrial Finance Group Public Corporation (Ukraine).

Thanking the Turkmen leader for the opportunity of a personal meeting the guest said that his company was keenly interested in establishing mutually advantageous cooperation with Turkmenistan that successfully implemented the large-scale social and economic development programmes.

Welcoming this intention Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said Turkmenistan had accumulated the long-term experience of cooperation with the Ukrainian companies which were engaged in implementing a number of the large-scale joint projects and stood ready to consider the new concrete proposals on further partnership.

In this regard Aleksander Tislenko briefed the Turkmen leader on the activities of Altkom Company specialized in a wide range of the fields – from extraction and processing raw materials and production of construction materials to design and construction of different facilities. In particular, the Ukrainian company intended to offer its expertise and innovation technologies in power plant construction, industrial, civil and highway engineering to dynamically developing Turkmenistan.

Noting that aiming at technology modernization of all sectors of the national economy Turkmenistan was interested in applying advanced technologies and equipment Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov suggested that Altkom Company should consider the opportunities to collaborate in a number of the sectoral programmes and projects. The head of the Ukrainian company welcomed this suggestion with enthusiasm and focused on the vast potential of the Turkmen market.

In conclusion thanking for the opportunity of a personal meeting the guest reaffirmed the company’s intention to establish close business contacts with Turkmenistan and said that it would spare no effort to justify trust granted.
