OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 June 2009 was announced, that in the course of the presentation of the second stage of development of the national tourist zone "Avaza", which took place June 15 in the newly built hotel "Vatanchy" on the shore of the Caspian Sea, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a package of regulations regarding the further development of the international sea resort.

Turkish company "Chizgi" will build a recreation center and hotel worth more than US USD  34.8 dollars for 250 people in "Avaza". The Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan is the main principal of the facility. The ministries and departments of the textile industry and trade will finance the construction of the facility. Under the contract, the facility should be commissioned in January 2011.

The subcontractor company "Fountains International Trading LLC" (UAE) will build a complex of sea fountains operating on the basis of modern technologies, as well as amphitheater, children's playgrounds with attractions, cafes, car parks, green spaces and park with total area of 83.6 thousand square kilometers. The total cost of the contract is US USD  27 million. The Committee on National Tourist Zone "Avaza" is acting as the main principal, and the "Turkmennebitgazgurlushyk" state concern as the main contractor of facilities that should be commissioned next year.

Turkish company Sehil was awarded a contract for the construction and repair of transportation and communications infrastructure being created in the resort, including the construction of road bridges, improvement of street lighting and landscaping of roads. The total cost of the contract exceeds US USD  94,1 million (excluding VAT). The owner of the facilities is the Committee on National Tourist Zone "Avaza". The facilities should be commissioned in June 2010.
