OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 June 2009 was announced, that OAO NK “RussNeft” keeps developing innovative and information technologies at the Company’s oilfields in Western Siberia. Within the frames of this activity at the subsidiary of the holding  - “OAO “Varioganneft” – there was created a common information space between the structural subdivisions and the engineering infrastructure of the oilfields/ The common information space based on Microsoft software and Radioethernet. technology  permits to reduce production costs and receive most complete information in real time mode.

At present OAO “Varioganneft” is using a number of information systems and software systems which permit to form up a detailed picture of the situation at an oilfield. Thus, automated system “Neftesbor” permits to control in real time mode technological process at booster pump stations, CPF, flood patterns and low pressure pipelines. The integrated system “SiGMA” is designed for accumulation and processing of geological-geophysical, technological and field data with the purpose of creating a three-D geological and hydrodynamic models of hydrocarbon deposits, maps, cross sections and operative control over an oilfield development.  The software system “Baspro-Analytic” is designed for oilfields development analysis and is used in conjunction with the SiGMA system.

In 2008 seven   well pads were included into the automated system of oil production technological process monitoring and control “Region-2000”. At present the system embraces 113 well pads. The system is designed for remote control and monitoring over technological objects of the well pads as well as for accumulation, storing, processing and release of information. “Region-2000” functions in real time mode. Information from an oilfield immediately becomes available to the management, geologists, technologists and other specialists, enabling them to make quick and efficient decisions.

At present the system of subsoil use data control is also functioning successfully. It is designed for efficient control over subsoil use at license areas. The most important tasks which the system helps to resolve are: monitoring of license agreements fulfillment, assessment of mineral resources base of the license areas and accounting in the process of subsoil use and protection.
