OREANDA-NEWS. July 2, 2009. Pursuant to a recent contract, GRASYS has supplied two adsorption nitrogen plants for OJSC Novoshakhtinsk Petroleum Products Plant (Rostov-on-Don). The plants are designated for pipelines purging and nitrogen blanket generation. The supplied nitrogen plants are rated for production of 600 nm3/hr of 95% nitrogen from air.

GRASYS adsorption nitrogen plants incorporate the air treatment unit, adsorption gas separation unit and the plant control system. The essential advantage of the plants is their simplicity in control and operation. Due to complete automation, plant operation requires no constant control.

The key benefits of adsorption nitrogen plants are their low energy consumption, minimal operating costs and reliability.

Adsorption nitrogen plants are suitable for a wide range of applications, especially those where fairly high nitrogen purity is required. These plants find use in chemical, petrochemical, as well as food industry, pharmaceutics, microelectronics etc.

Today, GRASYS is one of the largest and most reputable companies in the field of gas separation. GRASYS is also one of the world leading manufacturers of membrane and adsorption plants for nitrogen and oxygen production, hydrogen concentration, gas mix control etc.
