OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 July 2009 was announced, that Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company paid out the first part of insurance indemnity in the amount of UAH 144,727.50 for the damaged house in Pushkino Village (Alushta, Autonomous Republic of Crimea) in accordance with the property insurance agreement.

The finished house with building elements and the system of communications, as well as the land parcel adjoining its territory were insured by Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co.. Damage was done as a result of a landslide having caused cracking of the house walls and the walls of the outbuildings, and the paving flag and the decorative fence in the adjoining territory sank.

The main reasons of the landslide activity were undercutting of the sidehill in the course of vineland cultivation, dumping of the earth on the ascent beyond the land parcel, and its overwatering.

The insurance indemnity under the agreement included the following risks: fire, stroke of lightning, explosion (gas, reservoir), fall down of aircrafts, windstorm, hail, flood, earthquake, subsidence, landslide, avalanche, home-invasion robbery, robbery or brigandage, intended destruction or damage of property, hooliganism, running-down accident, smoke and acoustic impact, as well as damage by water from sprinkler and drencher systems, water supply, heating systems and canalization.

The residual part of the indemnity shall be paid out by Allianz Ukraine Ins.Co. upon determination of the extent of damage in the course of an expert study of the work required to provide stability of the homestead and exclude further development of landslide-related disturbances.
