OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2009. OJSC Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation renewed its retrocessional program since 1 July, 2009, which protects Company’s marine and cargo gross-retention.

Obligatory reinsurance limit remained unchanged – USD 6mln any one loss. Transsiberian Re priority also remained the same – USD 500 thousand. The program covers cargo insurance, marine hull, including vessels under construction and ownership liability. Territorial scope is unlimited – i.e. worldwide.

As in previous year, more than half (60%) of general limit under marine obligatory program was accepted by Lloyds syndicates. 95% of program is placed among reinsurers with international rating not less than A- of Standard & Poor’s or similar agencies. Willis acts as placing broker.
