OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 July 2009 was announced, that Belarusian Railway temporarily cut export tariffs on transport of peat and some fertilizers. The carrier’s subcommission for tariff policy adopted the decision on July 10, 2009.

Exports of peat [save for Russia] from Krulevschizna and Obol stations are subject to a 40% discount; whereas liquid fertilizer exports, including urea and ammonia sulphate, from Auls stations are subject to a 30% discount.

The discounts will be valid until December 31, 2009.
