OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 July 2009 UFC Capital released daily market expectations:

Finance Ministry has established a committee for screening of primary dealers. Andrei Kravets, deputy finance minister, has headed the committee for screening and assessment of primary dealers operations in the OVDPs market. Besides, the finance ministry has approved a preliminary agreement on cooperation in state securities market, under which the dealer assumes an obligation to quote on a daily basis on stock exchanges, file competitive applications for purchase in case of placements and purchase of OVDPs for not less than 3% of the total volume during 6-month period. On its side, the finance ministry assumes to satisfy, first and foremost, the dealers’ applications in case of OVDPs placements and take their proposals into consideration when preparing its placement schedules. We would like to remind that the first screening of primary dealers is to take place by August 10. If it will be less than six dealers, the further selection will be take place on a monthly basis, after selection of 6 dealers – on a quarterly basis and having selected 12 dealers – every 6 months.

The government proposes to narrow the insider information notion. The Ukrainian government believes that insider information is the unpublished information about the companies that publicly offered their securities or which securities are officially listed. The Cabinet suggests legalizing a regulation about insider’s info disclosure by including it into publicly accessible database of State Committee for Securities and Stock Market (SCSSM) as well as its release by one of the official publications of the parliament, government or SCSSM.

Ukrainska SE demonstrated the record-high amount of deals. July 28, on PFTS SE 90 deals were made with the shares of Ukrainian companies for the total of UAH 9.9 mn. The greatest number of deals – 22 – were made with Ukrnafta (UNAF) shares. The same day, on Ukrainska SE they made 591 deals for the record-high amount of UAH 14.2 mn. The most traded were the shares of Ukrnafta – 192 deals.
