OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 August 2009 was announced, that in July 2009 in Kazakhstan the minimum living wage was 12948 tenge (150,71/USD 1).

In comparison with June this indicator reduced to 3.3%, and with the same month of the last year increased up to 2.1%.

According to statistics, in July the share of food products in the general indicator of the minimum living wage made up 7769 tenge, non-foods and paid services – 5179 tenge.

Last month the share of expenses for buying meat and fish was 18.8%, milk, oil and eggs – 14.9%, fruits and vegetables - 14,7%, cereal products - 9,2%, sugar, tea and  spicery - 2,4%.

In July minimum living wage of children under 13 was 10160 tenge, young men of 14-17 – 16338 tenge, young ladies of the same age – 12516 tenge, employable men - 15483 tenge, women - 12293 tenge, pensioners and old people - 12111 tenge.

Population of Kazakhstan is more than 15.8 mln people.
