OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 August 2009 was announced, that “AeroSvit – Ukrainian Airlines” optimizes its winter schedule and improves affordability and availability of air travel. The new winter schedule for 2009/2010 was produced taking into account the passenger feedback for this period. Operation of regular flights to Cairo () will resume. The frequencies on popular routes will be increased, e.g. to Baku () – up to four times per week, and to Bangkok () –up to five times per week.

Moreover, “AeroSvit” plans to sell 150 000 tickets for winter flights at “crazy” fares. As introduced earlier, the fare for domestic flights is 29 USD, for international medium haul flights – 99 USD, and 399 USD for long-haul flights (round-trip including all taxes and charges). “Crazy Friday” promotion can be also applied abroad within “AeroSvit” route network. Also the airline introduced promo-codes on its web-site www.aerosvit.com and on partner web-sites. This way the customers can receive discounts for transportations and save at least 5% for tickets.

“For this season we propose tickets for a very low price that competes with proposals of low-cost airlines. Moreover, you can already purchase your ticket now, while there are still tickets available. Be sure, you will not find a better proposal – our practice suggests that people actively react to promotions of our airline.

Our frequent-flyer program “Meridian” allows to receive additional value – bonus miles, that can be used for bonus tickets and upgrade to a higher class of service on “AeroSvit” regular flights. For instance, having completed seven flights Kiev-Moscow,  a member of the program receives a complimentary ticket for this route.

By purchasing the tickets in advance, using promo-codes and benefits of loyalty program, the passengers can significantly save on air transportations. We hope to see new customers, those who could not afford to travel by air before” – says Ursula Silling, First Deputy Director General – Commercial.
