OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 August 2009 Rostelecom, Russia’s national telecom operator, announced that Victor Iudin has been appointed as first deputy general director of the Company.

Victor Vladimirovich Iudin was born on February 17, 1967 in the Shatursky district of the Moscow region.  In 1988 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Railroad Transportation Engineering. 

He has been working in the telecommunications industry since 1987.  From 1991 until 2000 he worked at the Voskresensky Telephone Exchange, a branch of the regional Elektrosvyaz, where he was promoted gradually from the position of engineer to first deputy general director.  From 2000 until 2001 he was head of business development at Shmid Telecom.  From 2001 until 2003 he worked at Russian Telecommunications Network as head of the Department of Comprehensive Sales.  In 2003 he was appointed as head of the Central branch of Rostelecom.  In 2005 he was named deputy general director of the Central branch of Rostelecom.
