OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2009. Shortly before the date on which the U.S.S.R. State Bank's Collection Service was formed 70 years ago, five cash collection unit employees of Sviaz-Bank’s Ulyanovsk branch were given awards by the Ulyanovsk Region’s Governor and the region’s Government for their high professionalism, their efforts in making delivery of valuables secure and safe, and for their diligent work, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

“The cash collection service of Sviaz-Bank’s Ulyanovsk branch both performs the branch’s commercial missions and is a socially significant service on the scale of the entire region because it delivers cash to the region’s post offices for pensions and benefits to be paid,” said Vladimir Kashitsyn, Manager of Sviaz-Bank’s Ulyanovsk branch.

Last year, the cash collection service of the Bank’s Ulyanovsk branch delivered nearly 15 billion rubles in cash to be paid out in social benefits to the region’s population.
