OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2009. It was said by the President of the International Automobile Transporters Association (AITA) Vladimir Florea adding that it is necessary to do that in order to develop the branch and protect its interests both inside the country and abroad. In his words, transporters expect from the new Cabinet first of all the professionalism and realization of their election promises, in particular, realization of the anti-crisis measures and strategies.

Moldova’s transporters say the transportations reduced considerably because of the economic crisis. The AITA President also said transporters wanted the improvement of the legislative basis, its gradual adaptation to the social-economic realities of the country. He emphasized that transporters expected equal attitude to all economic subjects to ensure the full transparency of work from the new government.

According to the director general of the Transporters Union Eugen Datco, transporters expect permanent cooperation based on transparency and equality from the new government. They hope the government will listen to them and take into consideration their opinions and ideas regarding the overcoming of the crisis situation in the branch as soon as possible. They also come out in favor of carrying out monthly meetings and discussions among employers, trade unions and government to start a long-awaited social dialogue.

According to Eugen Datco, transporters see implementation of the united strategy of the country’s development in all fields of economy among he priority tasks to be settled by the new government.
