OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2009. Allianz Eurasia has held a solemn ceremony of opening the Agent School whose capacity will enable training 120 agents at once. Initially, it will prepare insurance agents and managers for ROSNO, and, subsequently, it will become a training site for new employees from all over Allianz Eurasia Group, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

Training is the cornerstone of the agent’s future success. The training level provided to its agents by ROSNO has traditionally been considered to be one of the highest in the Russian insurance market. Yet current market trends and, particularly, the improved insurance culture of the Russian population require agents to achieve higher qualification and professionalism. Therefore, Allianz Eurasia’s new Agent School, located at 25 Varshavskoye Highway, is a fundamental step forward from the existing agent training approaches.

As a result of the course completed with our School, a graduate becomes not just an agent or a manager, but a professional financial consultant capable of offering a client an individual financial and insurance solution from among the existing non-life and life insurance services and asset management services", told Mr. Alexei Pospelov, Head Master — Deputy Head of Agent Sales Management Centre of IC ROSNO.

The school’s learning process is arranged in the form of trainings, instead of lectures, thus enriching the trainees with the maximum volume of practical solutions and skills, which is exactly what will be needed in course of their future agency work. Along with product trainings, much attention is paid to sales techniques (the school provides an active practicing in real "cold calls" to potential clients, made under the trainers’ supervision). The school is equipped with 32 laptops with preinstalled software product "Sales Manager’s Terminal" and printers. The software product "Sales Manager’s Terminal", developed and introduced with IC ROSNO already over a year ago, enables salespeople to achieve maximum formalization and easier issuance of sales documents and communication with employees of other divisions of the company (underwriting or expertise) and with clients, and, in addition, it minimizes possible errors of salespeople and largely speeds up payment of agent fees.

The basic course for new employees without job record in insurance sector takes 3 weeks, and the special course designed to retrain agents from other insurance companies takes 1.5 weeks. ROSNO’s existing financial consultants/managers will be able to improve their professional qualification in three days. The basic training program has been agreed with Allianz SE.
