OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 August 2009 was announced, that the Far-East branch of SOGAZ Insurance Group has signed an insurance agreement with KGUP Primorsky Vodokanal (Vladivostok) that is building engineering facilities in Vladivostok within the preparation program for APEC summit in 2012. Under the terms of the agreement SOGAZ will provide insurance services to the organization, covering its construction all risks/erection all risks (CAR/EAR), as well as civil liabilities for the entire duration of construction works and warranty maintenance period of the urban central sewage system.

The aggregate liability limit of SOGAZ amounts to RUR 3.4 billion.

The large-scale program ‘Reconstruction and Development of Water Supply and Sewage System in Vladivostok, Primorsky Territory’, which is also implemented as part of the preparation program for APEC-2012 and is financed from the regional and federal budget, will allow the city to stop the discharge of unfiltered sewage into the sea. Up to now, the earthwork stage has been completed and the construction of aeration tanks has started. The aeration tanks will hold the sewage runoff that will be treated according to the technology based on the use of anaerobic bacteria. The construction of a special filter for large-sized fractions of sewage runoff is also in full swing.

It would be appropriate to recall that SOGAZ Insurance Group also provides insurance coverage of CAR/EAR for CJSC TMK, which is building a unique bridge crossing over Zolotoy Rog Bay in Vladivostok, and for CJSC Crocus International, engaged in the construction of the Far-East Federal University building complex and conference centre on Russky island. These projects are also being realized within the preparation program for APEC summit in 2012.
