OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 August 2009 was announced, that the Belarusian state-owned distillery Nemanoff, based in the city of Grodno, produced 480,000 decaliters of vodka and other hard drinks in January-July 2009, up 8.3% on the year.

Fruit wine output decreased 27.8% year-on-year to 65,000 decaliters, and raw spirit output rose 4.7% to 246,000 decaliters. Rectified alcohol output reached 234,000 decaliters, up 1.7%.

Nemanoff makes 30 vodka brands and other hard drinks in regular and souvenir bottles.

The plant was established in 1896 as a brewery and later it was transformed into a wine plant. In 1994 the plant became a distillery to make hard drinks. In 2004, Vorochanski distillery was attached to the enterprise.
