OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2009. DTEK, the leading Ukrainian fuel and energy provider, has created a subsidiary company, Power Trade Plc, which will enable it to trade and export electricity to its key markets within Europe and the CIS.
 
Power Trade Plc was created on 11 February, 2009 and, on 9 June it was awarded a license by the National Commission for Power Regulation to supply power at an unregulated tariff. The license permits Power Trade Plc to trade until 27 May, 2012.
 
In June 2009, Power Trade Plc became a member of the Wholesale Electricity Market in Ukraine and, on 1 July, 2009, signed an agreement with the operator of Wholesale Electricity Market  - the state  company Energorynok, for the delivery of electricity using the non-regulated tariff.
