OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2009. Belarus’ internal debt decreased 2.3% on the month in July to 8.736 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of August 1, 2009, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry told.

Internal debt shrank 5.5% in January-July in real terms (adjusted for inflation).

Internal debt increased by 151 billion rubles in January-July 2009, or 0.2% of GDP, the official said.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 57.67%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 42.55%.
