OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2009. JSB ORGRESBANK bears the new name of OJSC Nordea Bank, reported the press-centre of Nordea Bank.

A finishing touch to the name-changing process was making relevant amendments to the Directory of Bank Identification Codes (BIC) with Central Bank of the Russian Federation, whereby the name of JSB ORGRESBANK (OJSC) in early September 17 was replaced with OJSC Nordea Bank.

From now on, the Bank will be operating under a new name. So, if you want to make a payment or draft a payment document, starting from that date, the name of OJSC Nordea Bank should be used.

Early on, the Bank received its amended Articles of Association from the Moscow regional branch of Russian Central Bank with the new name indicated (August 28), as well as the General Banking License and a license for attracting deposits and placement of precious metals, specifying the Bank’s new name.

The name-changing will not affect any rights and obligations of the Bank with respect to its customers and counterparties. All existing agreements shall remain in full force and effect without having to be re-signed.

Nor its business legal structure, OGRN (Primary State Registration Number), INN (Taxpayer’s Identification Number), BIC (Bank Identification Code), KPP (Tax Registration Reason Code), correspondent account, address, license numbers and other details will undergo any changes.

The name-changing in regional branches of the Bank will take place in October 2009.

The decision to change our name was taken in May 2009 at a General Meeting of the Bank. It was a logical step, given its full integration into Nordea Group, following completion by the latter of the process of consolidating 100% shares of the Bank.
