OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2009. In August the Vladivostok branch of Freight One loaded 13,300 wagons for conveyance along the Far East railway. This was 19% up on July this year. Total haulage for the month was 792,000 tonnes of cargo.

Cisterns accounted for most haulage operations: the branch conveyed 488,000 tonnes of oil and oil products. This was in addition to 94,000 tonnes of construction materials, 58,000 tonnes of coal and nearly 50,000 of cement.

Since the beginning of 2009 Freight One’s Vladivostok branch has doubled its loading and unloading operations on the Far East railway.

“Freight One’s wagon-loading operations on the Far East railway are steadily growing each month. Freight One has found a stable niche on the regional market. The company’s own fleet of trucks is growing, new routes are being worked out, the client base is expanding – as a result haulage is increasing,” commented Viktor Osipov, director of the Vladivostok branch of JSC Freight One.
