OREANDA-NEWS. October 2, 2009. President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received CEO of Rixos Hotels Group Fettah Tamince.

Thanking for the opportunity of a personal meeting the Turkish businessman congratulated the leader of the Turkmen state on his brilliant address to the 64th session of the UN General Assembly and the highest award of the International Informatization Academy – the order “For the Contribution to Development of Information Society” that vividly evidenced the high prestige of Turkmenistan that resolutely moved forward under the leadership of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov along the path of fundamental reforms and profound changes.

Presenting the expertise and potential of his company, which had launched dozens of the large-scale projects in different countries of the world including Austria, Croatia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Turkey, the guest emphasized that many foreign partners including Rixos Hotel Groups were keenly interested in establishing cooperation with Turkmenistan viewed by world business community as an exceptionally promising partner for a great number of the international and national projects being implemented there. These particularly included the large-scale project of Avaza national tourism zone initiated by the President of Turkmenistan.

Mr. Fettah Tamince informed Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov of the concrete steps to be taken to establish close business contacts with Turkmenistan, in particular the draft projects, which would be presented during the presentation of new facilities in Avaza. 

The top manager of the large Turkish company noted that intense interest shown by world business community in this large-scale project inspired with great confidence that in the near future a world-class seaside resort would spring up on the eastern ecologically pure seashore of the Caspian Sea. This interest was aroused to a larger extent by the favourable investment climate and substantial customs and tax benefits guaranteed to foreign business.

Welcoming the intentions of the company, which had the profound expertise in construction of tourism facilities, to operate on the Turkmen market Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on Turkmenistan’s readiness for open and mutually advantageous cooperation especially in the fields where Turkmenistan’s interests required attraction of substantial investments and advanced technologies. The Turkmen leader said that Turkmenistan relied on the potential partners’ initiatives and expected them to put forward the concrete proposals on collaboration in the urban development programme launched in Turkmenistan.

In conclusion the guest thanked for the heartfelt welcome and assured the President that Rixos Hotels Group would spare no effort to establish long-term mutually advantageous partnership with Turkmenistan.
