OREANDA-NEWS. The 15th Baltic Financial Forum will take place on 12 October 2009 at the Reval Hotel Latvia, reported the press-centre of Sorainen.

The Baltic Financial Forum is an international financial conference dedicated to the most important developments in the economy, news from the financial sector, as well as banking system development opportunities in the Baltic States.

Three parallel conferences will take place within the frame of the Forum:
 
1. Strategies for Baltic enterprises during the crisis – adapting to the new economic environment (working language – English).
 
2. Debt Collection Practices. Managing a portfolio of bad debts (working language – Latvian).
 
3. Tax and Accounting: Modern Solutions (working language – Latvian).
 
Sorainen senior associate Rudolfs Engelis will deliver a presentation entitled “Restructuring in the Baltic States: lessons learned and the road ahead” in the first conference. Diana Kluskina, Sorainen senior associate and an experienced tax specialist, will deliver a presentation on “The Latvian tax system and its development specifics (current situation)” in the third conference.
