OREANDA-NEWS. October 12, 2009. The XI Annual Agricultural Exhibition "Golden Autumn - 2009" started at the All-Russia Exhibition Center in Moscow today. The exhibition is hosting 50 Russian regions and 29 countries, including Turkmenistan. The Food Industry Association and the State Fishery Committee of Turkmenistan showcase products of meat, dairy, fish, oil, confectionery, sugar, beverages, wine and horticultural industries in № 57 pavilion.

A wide range of food products under the label "Made in Turkmenistan" such as boiled and smoked sausages, different types of cheese, butter, condensed milk, ice cream, yogurt, sour cream and other dairy products, tomato paste and ketchup, fruit and vegetable juices, soft drinks for every taste, great variety of fresh and canned fruits and vegetables are demonstrated to visitors.

A separate section of the exhibition presents Turkmen seafood and fish - fresh, dried, smoked, canned. The exhibition visitors can taste the Turkmen wine, balms, bitters and brandy - winners of the international competition "Yalta. Golden Gryphon", which is annually held in the Crimea where winemakers from Turkmenistan traditionally win prizes.

The pavilion of Turkmenistan is designed to demonstrate Turkmenistan's achievements, and the forum itself to provide a ground for heads of agencies and specialists of the Turkmen agricultural sphere to find new business partners in the production and marketing of agricultural products, study innovative agricultural technologies used abroad.

There are also foreign countries participating in the exhibition such as Luxembourg, Australia, Bulgaria, India, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Switzerland. Business entities of Germany, Italy, Netherlands, USA, Slovenia, Lithuania and several other states participate in the collective national pavilions.

"Golden Autumn" brings together annually more than 200 thousand people, including 60 thousand experts - representatives of the leading agro-holdings, the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery, food processing enterprises, animal husbandry and breeding centers, research institutes and funding bodies.

This year, the exhibition participants occupy 5 pavilions and open areas in the central part of the exhibition center. They showcased samples of agricultural machinery, including large ones. The traditional fair of best agricultural products was also held as part of the exhibition.
