OREANDA-NEWS. October 14, 2009. Flour market in Russia is one of the most highly competitive. According to independent expert data, Russia has the biggest number of grain processors per capita in the world. Therefore, the issue of strengthening current positions and entering new markets is always relevant for flour millers.

Grain processing company PAVA introduced several new tools for professional co-operation. Quality of the flour produced on Rebrikha, Mikhailovsky and Achinsk mills is monitored in the company’s laboratories, providing strict control over its baking parameters.

The new measure allows to guarantee high product quality to bakers and confectioners, and offer them a consultation on the manufacturing technology.

“Today we can speak about a new stage in co-operation with technologists of confectionery and bakery production. It offers business growth opportunities both for us and our partners, and is especially important against reducing market size that we have observed over the last few years”, says Andrey Ananin, PAVA Director General.

Currently PAVA offers own product developments to its partners, also helping them introduce innovative manufacturing technologies, and holds negotiations on the new potential markets.

“Representatives of PAVA conducted a lot of meetings with companies in the Eastern part of Russia, and saw that the new policy was warmly welcomed – “at last millers have turned towards closer cooperation with bakers” was the feedback we often received. This gives reason to anticipate promising and long-term business partnerships”, concluded Andrey Ananin.
