OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2009. UTair Aviation carried 348 thousand 071 passengers in September 2009 which exceeds the similar figures of the respective period of 2008 by 14,5%.

From January till September 2009 more than 2 mln 555 thousand passengers used UTair services.

Moreover, the reported period is marked by a significant increase in other operational figures. Passenger turnover in September 2009 in particular saw a 18,1 % rise and reached the level of 587 million 205 thousand passenger kilometers. Passenger load factor in September 2009 was 73,8% which is 2,4 points more than the figure for 2008.

As of nine months of 2009 UTair helicopters have flown 56 thousand 939 hours and the amount of carried cargo was 43 thousand 159 tons which is a 7% increment in comparison with the 2008 figure.

According to UTair Business Plan the company’s fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft are going to fly 238,4 thousand hours. Passenger aircraft are to carry 3,8 million passengers. Helicopter operations will be performed both in Russia and in ten foreign countries.
