OREANDA-NEWS. October 28, 2009. The representative delegation of JSC “Zarubezhneft” took part in the work of the 9th International conference and exhibition for oil and gas resources development of the Russian Arctic and SIC continental shelf (RAO/CIS Offshore 2009) which were held in St. Petersburg from 15 to 18 of September, 2009.

Among the promoters were the Ministry of natural resources and ecology of the Russian Federation, Federal subsurface resources management agency, JSC “Gazprom”, JSC “Lukoil”, LLC “Sevmorneftegaz”, Scientific-research Institute for natural gases and gas technologies (LLC “VNIIGAZ”), CJSC “Exhibition company “Restek”. The event is held once in two years. Reputed companies specialized in offshore oil and gas production, prominent Russian scientific-research institutes and manufacturers of equipment and vessels for offshore development took part in the work of RAO/CIS.

Experts of JSC “Zarubezhneft” took part in two plenary sittings of the conference; seminars on geology, offshore hydrocarbon fields development, etc; round tables on projects of oil and gas field exploration and in the international specialized exhibition.

Deputy Director of Offshore projects department of JSC “Zarubezhneft” V.N. Hoshtaria made a report "Substantiation of research and evaluation survey in transition zone of the north-eastern part of the Khoreyver depression" at the round table "Continental shelf of the Arctic seas".

During the international specialized exhibition a constant functioning of JSC “Zarubezhneft” stand was performed, negotiations with representatives of foreign and domestic companies were held on the subject of the activity area of the company, on its participation in the fuel and energy complex of Russia, Vietnam and other countries.

The work in the conference and exhibition stand of the JSC “Zarubezhneft” experts was commemorated with a letter of gratitude "For active participation in the 9th International conference and exhibition for oil and gas resources development of the Russian Arctic and SIC continental shelf (RAO/CIS Offshore 2009)".
