OREANDA-NEWS. November 09, 2009. Within “The days of Czech and Slovak business circles” in Moscow the three-sided memorandum on the interaction at construction and entering in work the vapour-gas unit (VGU) at the Novo-Sverdlovskaya CHPP was signed between OJSC “TGC-9” (“Generation of the Urals” branch of the IES-Holding), the government of the Sverdlovsk region and Czech company "PSG-International a.s."

Memorandum was signed today by the IES-Holding Managing vice-president- the “Generation of the Urals” branch leader Roman Nizhankovskiy, the chairman of the Sverdlovsk region’s government Victor Koksharov and the General Director of the "РSG-International" company Yirzhi Gorachek. According to this document sides agree on interaction at preparation of the design documentation, construction and entering in using the VGU at the Novo-Sverdlovskaya CHPP. The general electric power of the energy unit planned to the construction will be from 250 to 320 MW, heat power will be 150-220 Gcal/h. The supposed period of the entering in work the VGU at the Novo-Sverdlovskaya CHPP is the 4th quarter of the 2013.

For the realization of the project it was solved to create a joint worker group, which include as leaders: the deputy of the “Generation of the Urals” branch of the IES-Holding leader on development and information technologies Vitaliy Anikin, the Minister of Energy and Housing public facilities (HPF) on the Sverdlovskaya area Yuriy Shevelev and the General Director of the "PSG-International a.s. " company Yirzhi Gorachek.

The realization of the investment project will allow providing of supplies of additional electric and heat energy for Yekaterinburg and Berezovskiy cities of the Sverdlovsk region. The plans of expansion for Novo-Sverdlovskaya CHPP are connected with prospects of development the system of site heat provision for the Urals’ capital. 

The construction project of the VGU at the Novo-Sverdlovskaya CHPP gets the Government’s of Russian Federation and the Czech Republic’s support and was enclosed in priority projects of the Czech-Russian economic cooperation, marked in the Protocol of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation from 15th September 2009.
