OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2009. One of the largest cities in Dagestan has become closer to citizens of Western Siberia thanks to “UTair” Aviation JSC (UTair Aviation). As part of autumn-winter schedule the Company has introduced scheduled flights en route TyumenMakhachkalaTyumen. Flights to the capital of Dagestan are operated on a comfortable Tu-134 aircraft.

During autumn-winter 2009-2010 UTair Aviation is making flights from Roschino airport in 17 directions, linking Tyumen with cities in Russia and abroad. The updated UTair schedule also includes a new route TyumenUfaTyumen.

The new UTair routes offer special tariffs and discounts for different passenger categories. There are discounts for children and youth. The year-round campaign “Veteran” enables veterans of the Great Patriotic War to have a free flight at any time once in a year, and their companions are offered a discount. The STATUS frequent-flyer program provides bonuses in the form of free tickets in exchange for the points awarded to the program members for each flight, as well as a range of other benefits.

In autumn-winter 2009 UTair airplanes perform regular flights to 65 cities in Russia and foreign countries. For the implementation of the operational program 100 aircraft of different types are used. UTair aircraft perform more than 200 flights a day. In 2009 the Company launched flights from Moscow to Krasnoyarsk, Omsk, Barnaul, Murmansk, Mineralnye Vody, Rostov-na-Donu; from Samara to Tel-Aviv and others. For passenger convenience the frequency of flights along some routes has been increased. In 2009 UTair is planning to increase the number of carried passengers to 3,8 million people which exceeds the corresponding 2008 figure by 15%.
