OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2009. Petrozavodskmash shipped separators for the TANECO Corp. on board a vessel. The equipment will go to the Republic of Tatarstan and in approximately 10 days will come to the place of destination. We have to remind that this summer the company won the tender for manufacturing of the equipment for a complex of oil refining and petrochemical factories under construction in Nizhnekamsk. On performance of the order it has been allowed less than three months which is an unprecedented term for such large-sized equipment.

In the opinion of the Director General of Petrozavodskmash JSC Leonid Beluga, in Karelia it became the biggest stories of the year in machine-building industry. Thanks to the operative and well co-ordinated work of its workers the enterprise has once again confirmed its reputation of the reliable partner.

The separators ordered at the Petrozavodskmash are designed for a primary oil refinery. They are intended to separate fuel gases from refinery products. Each column is 22 metres long and 5 metres in diameter, weighing 105 tons. By their design and the separators are simpler than the columns delivered to Nizhnekamsk last year. They are also smaller in size. Nevertheless, this is largest equipment produced this year in the republic. Therefore, it will be delivered by water. The storm has presvented the vessel from arriving on time, however, in the morning on November 13 it has already been moored to the wharf of the factory.

Shipment of separators from the shop the day before has quickened interest of passers-by. The equipment was delivered to the port by a powerful tractor accompanied by traffic police cars. For this purpose wires of electric lighting lines and overhead trolleybus system have been raised temporarily. The main result is that it was possible to make separators on time and ship them during the navigation period.

Qualitative performance of units this year allows to expect receipt of a similar order again in the next season.
