OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2009. On January 1, 2010 Sibirtelecom OJSC will start providing telephony and broad-band Internet access services to subscribers of its 100% subsidiary companies located in the Irkutsk region: ATS-32 CJSC and ATS-41 CJSC. All services will be provided under Sibirtelecom and Webstream brands.

ATS-32 CJSC and ATS-41 CJSC subsidiary companies of Sibirtelecom are specialized in providing services of local telephony, switched and broad-band access to Internet. The services are provided in Irkutsk (ATS-32), Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk (ATS-41). In 2006 Sibirtelecom's share in the authorized capital of these companies reached 100% (from 40.42 % in АТS-32 and 49% in АТS-41). At present over 15 thousand and 14 thousand subscribers are the users of services provided by ATS-32 and ATS-41.

Due to limited capacity of these subsidiary companies and in order to improve the quality of communication services, Sibirtelecom made a decision of independent servicing the subscribers of ATS-32 and ATS-41.

“The subscribers of our subsidiary companies will have an increased range of modern telecommunication services. They will receive services of high-speed Internet access, IP-telephony, TVist digital television, and others," said Oleg Shirshov, Director of Irkutsk branch of Sibirtelecom OJSC.

Sibirtelecom has already started to renew contracts with the subscribers. To execute a new contract for providing communication services by Sibirtelecom, the subscribers need to come to offices of subsidiary companies or sales and service offices of Sibirtelecom and to bring a passport and documents that confirm the property right for the premises where a telephone is installed.
