OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2009. The experimental residential compound featuring a recreation green floor is to be raised at the junction of Fonvizina and Dobrolyubova streets in northeastern Moscow.

The project was approved by the Public Council for Urban Development under Moscow Mayor on November 25.

Head Architect of Moscow Aleksandr Kuzmin said that the multipurpose high-rise residential compound would be erected within the New Ring of Moscow program aimed at developing high-rise structures.

The development is to be carried out on the 0.95-hectare site to be freed from 3 dilapidated five-storey dwelling houses. Its total area is expected to be 68,000 square metres. It is designed to consist of 3 buildings of 24, 29 and 39 floors height as well as an underground car park for 620 vehicles.

According to Mr Kuzmin, it will probably be the first structure in Moscow containing a floor designed completely for recreation. The 4.5-metre tall first floor will be a green recreation area intended mostly for children, aged and physically challenged people.

All the 486 flats of the compound will be used for moving the residents of northeastern Moscow from the ramshackle houses.
