OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2009. CenterTelecom OJSC, the largest telecommunications operator in Russia’s Central Federal District, today reports its operating results for the first nine months 2009 issued in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

CenterTelecom's consolidated interim financial statements for the first nine months of 2009 are non-audited; they include the company's accounting balance sheet, profit and loss statement, aggregate income report, cash flow statement, equity changes statement and notes to financial statements.

According to IFRS the company's sales revenues for January-September 2009 reached RUB27.427 billion. CenterTelecom's operating expenses amounted to RUB21.289 billion. Other operating income for January-September 2009 amounted to RUB2.218 billion. CenterTelecom's profit from operating activities for the reporting period reached RUB8.356 billion.

CenterTelecom's consolidated revenues from local telephone communications services for the first nine months of 2009 amounted to RUB12.457 billion. It represents over 45% of total revenues. The company's revenues from data transmission and telematic services (Internet access) reached RUB4.511 billion (16.45% of total revenues). CenterTelecom's EBITDA[1] for January-September 2009 reached RUB13.027 billion; EBITDA margin[2] was 47.5%.CenterTelecom's consolidated net profit for the reporting period reached RUB4.756 billion.
