OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2009. A permanent exposition of the last century cult cars and motorbikes will open at "Lenexpo" premises on December 18, 2009. The exposition organizers are JSC "Lenexpo", "International Cultural Center" Ltd, "Retro-Union" club and "Museum Alliance" (St. Petersburg). Pavilion №3 will host the exposition of 2500 sq m, which will demonstrate the exhibits from "Retro-Union" collection and other retro museums of Zelenogorsk, Vyborg and private collections.  In assistance with "Stone Lion" St. Petersburg esthete-club "Auto Exotics" museum will also have a new club, which will please the guests with a unique jazz program, performed by St. Petersburg jazz and blues star Valery Ostapenko. Every week the pavilion with exotic cars will host the show "Night at the museum".

Besides club parties "Auto exotic" museum offers different forms of cooperation: partners and informational sponsorship, participation in business and cultural programs, organization and conduction of personal presentations and promo-actions. Museum territory lets you compose different temporary or permanent advertising and image compositions of auto and motor  novelties for the period of seminars, conferences, round tables and business meetings either before of after the International auto industrial Forum. One of the main goals of "Auto Exotics" museum is to make a retro composition with different cars manufactured by the Russian Auto Industry, which can be demonstrated at the International Auto Industrial Forum in October 2010. JSC "Lenexpo" offers the main auto enterprises and Forum participants provide the historical models, which made and determined the development of the National Car Building industry, and expose them in the Pavilion free of charge. The exposition period can be extended after the Forum by participants' mutual consent.

"Auto Exotics" museum will take  old vehicles from car manufacturing enterprises and place it in the exposition "Russian car" for any period on the basis of a "responsible keeping" custody of the exhibits until they are requested back to the owning enterprises. There is a possibility of a gratuitous donation of retro cars to the museum fund.  The exhibits can include historical national motor cars and lorries, motor bikes, sport vehicles, concept -cars, car prototypes, experimental models never put into real production and etc.

The official opening ceremony for "Auto Exotics" Museum will be conducted on Friday, December 18, 2009 on the territory of "Lenexpo" exhibition complex in the Pavilion 3.
