OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2009. The first 810 sets of clothes for flight attendants will arrive at JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines in late December 2009. The new uniform for Aeroflot service units is manufactured by CJSC BTK Group (St. Petersburg), reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

The project created by the Bunakova & Khokhlov design bureau (designers Yulia Bunakova and Yevgeny Khokhlov) has won the open tender for manufacturing of the new wardrobe for Aeroflot’s ground services.

Beginning December 25, the new uniform can be seen worn by flight attendant on the most popular winter destinationa such as London, Paris, Geneva, and St. Petersburg. Early next year, around 3.5-4 thousand of the company’s service unit employees will put on the new uniform. One full wardrobe including almost 20 items costs nearly 1,500 USD.

The new Aeroflot outfits for women will feature two main colors: navy blue for the winter and ‘red tangerine’ for summer versions. The men’s outfits from both winter and summer wardrobes are in navy blue.
